The factory Service Interval Board uses rechargeable batteries to preserve service information. As these batteries age, they may leak or fail, potentially damaging the circuit board and causing instrument cluster malfunctions.
Our BMW E30 Gen 1 Battery-Free SI Board eliminates this vulnerable component while retaining the standard Service Interval Board functionality.
This Service Interval Board is designed specifically for BMW E30 Generation 1 instrument clusters, generally associated with early/pre-facelift applications.

This board is not intended for later BMW E30 instrument clusters with different SI board configurations.
Please verify your instrument cluster type before ordering. Production year alone is not sufficient to guarantee compatibility, as different cluster generations were used during the E30 production period.
Installation requires transferring the small sub-board containing the nine Service Interval indicator lights from your original SI board to the replacement.
The LED sub-board fits into the designated slot on the new SI board.
