Disconnect battery; move shifter to N.
Remove the shift knob and factory trim panel.
Transfer the PRND indicator bars from the stock panel to the new platform.
Test selector movement and indicator alignment.
Set the new panel on top of the stock surround and secure (thin automotive double-sided tape recommended).
Refit knob and confirm operation/illumination.
Tip: Test-fit before taping or painting. Handle any illumination wiring with care.
